Scenic beauty with 100+-year-old Oak trees. Loads of marsh and water views and is one of Dan Maple’s most famous courses. One you can’t miss.
Golfers at the Dan Maples-designed Willbrook Plantation Golf Club don’t just get a great round of golf but get a history lesson as well with informational signs throughout the course giving details of old plantations like the two on which it’s built.
One of the Grand Strand’s loveliest courses, the course is filled with moss-covered live oaks throughout and has two holes, No. 1 and No. 15, that was named by the Myrtle Beach Sun News as among the most beautiful on the Grand Strand.
In a real sense, history follows golfers throughout the course, beginning with a waterway next to the first tee that once helped supply the plantations with water. And while the waterway flows through much of the course, it’s usually not a factor in play. At 6,722 yards, the course does a good job of mixing up easier and more difficult holes with enough challenges it will keep golfers wanting to return for more. The course is also highly rated among women golfers. Course amenities include complete practice facilities, lounge, snack bar, refreshment carts, and more.

fairways a little rough, and it was cartpath only on the front even though it didn't seem too wet.

We love Willbrook and thought the course was nice. We got absolutely eaten alive by bugs. I am not sure if there is anything Willbrook can do about this but it makes for and unpleasant round and the after effects of the bug bites were not pleasant.
